The National House Building Council has launched a new mobile solution to over 400 Building Control Inspectors throughout the United Kingdom.

The solution, which is based on Java over Oracle Lite, is one of the largest Oracle Lite deployments in Europe and features advanced workflow, over 100 screens and mobile certificate printing.

The solution was designed and built by CDP and is the second major mobile platform deployed by NHBC after the success of the Health and Safety Inspection deployment. The solution is expected to deliver substantial productivity and efficiency benefits for the inspectors and head office staff as well as deliver customer service benefits to clients through the immediate production of inspection reports onsite.
