MTP Technology
The MTP is comprised of three CDP components; Mobile Trading Server, Mobile Network Agent and Mobile Device Application. These components deliver secure high performance streaming, multi-factor authentication, full audit capability, compliance and policy enforcement functions, latency/network management (down to individual trades and data streams) and estate management (including remote session termination).
The Mobile Trading Platform can be deployed across all device types including Blackberry (BES and non BES), Windows Mobile (Phone and Smartphone Edition), Symbian and JAVA enabled mobile phones (e.g. Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson etc).
Deployment and Managed Services
The MTP is platform independent and able to integrate with both third party and in-house developed applications via an API. In many cases, the intelligence required on mobile devices will be drawn from multiple separate systems (e.g. 3rd party tool for trade execution combined with an internal proprietary risk system for overall position keeping and valuation models). The MTP can be deployed across multiple systems.
CDP utilises a six stage process from Discovery (including solution sizing) through to Full Live and handover to your managed service provider. This process includes independent security testing (including penetration testing) for each client deployment by an independent CHECK accredited security consultancy.
CDP is a technology specialist and does not offer managed services itself. Managed Services are provided by CDP's leading Facilities Management partners or, more typically, handed over to your existing managed service providers.
