CDP staff member handled technical issues such as networking and helped local suppliers for SUN Microsystems and Oracle Corporation to advice on technical issues such as database administration and system administration including backups and support. Once all technical issues had been resolved and the system was up and running the staff at the foundation tested out the system for a number of days. In all the whole process took one week, down from an original estimate of up to 2 months.
Another successful implementation of the SOLAR software for the Karaiskakio foundation. It does not finish here. In future, the Karaiskakio Foundation hope to grow into the software by using more of its features and customizing it for their own needs. They will also be looking to use the upgrades adopted by the ANBMT. CDP aim to help fulfill any of these needs in the future in a timely and flexible manner.
